LoRaWAN can be used to monitor the levels of materials in silos, and trigger restocking tasks when needed. Silos are commonly used for storing bulk materials, such as grain, coal, or cement. By installing level sensors in silos, building managers can monitor the levels of materials in real-time. When the levels fall below a certain threshold, the system can automatically trigger a restocking task, ensuring that the silos are always well-stocked.
