Originally focusing on home entertainment, Convert’s technology journey led to the creation of a successful Internet of Things (IoT) media platform. This exploration prompted us to delve into emerging technologies, specifically LoRa® networks and 2.4GHz radio ranging, as potential solutions for accurate location services and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications. Implementing robust security measures is essential for modern asset tracking systems, so the security protocols we’ve developed for 2.4GHz networks serve as a basis for securing communication when operating in tandem with Sub-GHz networks.
Our patented platform, functioning as a unified ‘dual frequency network,’ optimises and leverages the value already invested in existing Sub-GHz infrastructure. It competes with or complements solutions such as GPS, Wi-Fi, RFID, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), and UWB (Ultra-wideband) successfully.
